Every year since 1989, the friends, family members, colleagues, etc. of the Easter Acres community have gathered, usually in early September, to share in chili-eating, fun, and fellowship. There's some competition too: contestants compete in the hot and mild categories for best taste and creativity. We don't restrict chilis by Texas standards; anything goes!
